To Kill a Mockingbird

Winner of the 1960 Pulitzer Prize for fiction, Harper Lee’s "To Kill A Mockingbird" is unquestionably an American classic. More than 15 million copies of the novel have been printed and it is required reading in high schools across the country.  The story itself is simple, yet it is an elaborate example of human nature.  Themes such as prejudice, pro-lifers, racisim, homophobia, and human values are things that will exsist forever in the Deep South, as this story demonstrates.
